Since its inception, Graftek Printing and Packaging has prioritized corporate social responsibility activities, embodying its core values at every level of the organization through its commitment to valuing and respecting people, its vision of adding value to society, and its understanding of protecting nature and working in harmony with it.
Graftek Printing and Packaging uses and develops raw materials and printing technologies with the awareness that packaging protects not only what is inside but also what remains outside, investing in people and the environment. With its sensitivity to global natural resource consumption and environmental impacts, it resolutely implements social responsibility projects and continues to produce the eco-friendly packaging of the future.
Under the slogan “HAPPY EMPLOYEES,” Graftek strives to enhance both institutional and social quality of life by supporting the professional and personal development of its employees through training programs offered under the Graftek Academy. As GRAFTEK Printing and Packaging, we are aware that our employees are our most important asset for the sustainability of our workplace and our business. Prevention of Child Labor:
Not permitting or supporting child labor, acting in accordance with the procedures and principles of child labor,
Prevention of Forced and Compulsory Labor:
We will not subject any of our employees to pressure or debt-based labor in any matter, and we will employ all our employees in suitable positions under equal conditions and with their consent.
Ensuring Occupational Health and Safety:
We commit to complying with all legal requirements for the occupational health and safety of all our employees, taking all necessary preventive measures to prevent workplace accidents, and providing our employees with a well-equipped working environment and all hygienic facilities to meet their basic needs.
Wages and Payments:
We provide all our employees with wages and social benefits determined within the framework of the law.
Prevention of Discrimination:
We do not discriminate among employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, and other stakeholders on the basis of language, religion, race, gender, social class, political opinion, pregnancy, marital status, or physical disability. When hiring our employees, we base our decisions on their ability to perform the job.
Prevention of Abuse and Harassment:
We will not subject our employees to corporate punishment, abuse, or harassment; we will treat our employees with respect and dignity.
Prevention of Environmental Pollution:
Establishing environmentally friendly policies and standards to prevent environmental pollution and protect nature, and raising awareness among our employees on this matter,
Protection of Information:
To take care to protect the confidential information of employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders; not to permit the sharing of such information with third parties; and to use such confidential information only within the Community by authorized persons, within the framework of the Code of Ethics and solely in the interests of the Community.
Compliance with Laws:
To conduct all activities in accordance with laws and regulations, to closely monitor laws and regulations, and to take necessary measures for compliance.
Freedom of Representation, Freedom of Association, and Respect for Collective Bargaining Agreements:
GRAFTEK Printing and Packaging respects the right of workers to freely and democratically form unions, does not discriminate among workers on the basis of union membership and respects workers’ right to collective bargaining, does not prevent business partners or worker representatives from accessing or interacting with workers at the workplace, and allows business partners to freely choose a representative with whom employees can engage in dialogue regarding workplace issues at the company.

We carry out our initiatives with an entrepreneurial spirit but also a sense of responsibility. We view pursuing our goals with determination, mutual fairness in our communication with each other and our business partners as a prerequisite for corporate success. We contribute to the development of our employees through internal and external training. When designing new products, we take into account their economic, social, and environmental impacts.
Prevention of Bribery:
We commit to never accepting any gifts or payments that would provide financial gain from any of our employees or suppliers under any circumstances, and to never make such requests.
Respectful of women’s rights:
Ensuring women’s participation in the workforce is one of our company’s priorities.
Supply Chain Management: We support our preferred suppliers and subcontractors in taking reasonable measures to comply with social compliance rules; we adopt a collaborative and knowledge-sharing approach to identifying and improving risks.
Bribery and Corruption: Bribery/corruption and offering, accepting, or suggesting commissions are not tolerated under any circumstances; all employees and suppliers are required to comply with ethical rules.
Violence and Harassment (Zero Tolerance): Zero tolerance is applied to all forms of violence and harassment, including gender-based violence and harassment.
Migrant Workers and Vulnerable Groups: Where migrant workers are employed, all legal permits are obtained and kept up to date; employment contracts and training are provided in a language the workers understand; additional measures are taken against risks of discrimination and exploitation (especially for vulnerable groups such as female migrant workers).
State-Sponsored Forced Labor and Human Trafficking: We oppose all forms of forced labor, including state-sponsored forced labor; human smuggling/trafficking and the employment of undocumented workers are not tolerated at any of our facilities.
Prevention of Debt Bondage/Forced Labor (Details): No security/deposit is required from employees; identity/travel documents are not confiscated; employees can terminate their employment relationship at their own free will with reasonable advance notice. No form of forced labor is tolerated, including prison/detention labor.
Communication and Complaint Mechanism: Channels through which employees can clearly communicate their requests, complaints, and suggestions (suggestion/complaint boxes, employee representatives, etc.) are maintained effectively; no retaliation or disciplinary action is taken against employees who make good-faith reports.
Working Hours: Working hours, overtime, and rest/break periods are planned in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and clearly communicated to employees.
Employee Awareness and Training: Employees are informed upon hiring and periodically about their personal rights, company rules, working conditions, complaint/reporting mechanisms, and ethical issues.
Recruitment: In addition to technical/professional competence, compliance with company ethical rules and social suitability requirements is evaluated as a basic criterion in personnel selection; provisions for the prevention of discrimination and harassment/abuse are applied from the recruitment process onwards.
Amfori BSCI & Sedex/SMETA Compliance Commitments: Graftek Printing and Packaging commits to complying with ethical and responsible working principles under the amfori BSCI and Sedex/SMETA approach, in addition to applicable national legislation.
